Man falling

The relief sculpture, Man falling, is based on a photograph Zephyr took while driving through rural Manitoba. When driving through the prairies it is common to see the “old house” on rural properties. These houses are often very small and presumably housed large families, through harsh weather. The fire place and chimney pictured in the relief is all that was left of one of these houses. The man falling from the chimney turned up on the relief a long time after the rest of the subject matter.
