Biography

Born in the UK in 1992, Zephyr grew up in London and Copenhagen before relocating to Winnipeg, Canada, in 2005. Now based in Halifax, NS, Zephyr creates sculptures using processed materials that retain their roots in the natural world, exploring core elements of the human experience.

Zephyr began his studies at Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver, BC, before leaving to pursue a decade of independent research and exploration. He later completed his degree at Nova Scotia College of Art and Design University in Halifax, NS. 

Zephyr's sculptures have been showcased across Canada in art fairs, group and solo exhibitions, and public installations. In addition to his artistic practice, Zephyr has contributed to the arts community by serving on juries for art competitions.
