This sculpture represents an exploration of different ways to showcase the human figure, expanding on Zephyr's previous work, particularly the piece Arm. The concept for this sculpture had been lingering in Zephyr's mind for years. However, just before translating the idea into a sculpture, a meniscus tear in the left knee occurred, leading to emergency surgery and a gradual but successful recovery. Zephyr remained conscious during the surgery, observing the procedure through a monitor that displayed the view from a small camera inserted into the knee. This unique experience undeniably left its mark on the sculpture.
